Shipping Details
Locks Galore will deliver your items by Australia Post.
Delivery costs are calculated automatically at the checkout and are determined by the combined weight of all items ordered and the delivery address.
Parcels are usually sent by registered post which requires a signature on receipt of delivery. It allows the parcel to be traced and includes insurance up to $100.00.
If you are not at the delivery address at the time of delivery, a notice will be left in your letterbox for pickup at your local post office. Please note that you will need proof of ID when collecting your parcel from the post office.
Purchase Orders
Official Purchase Orders, are accepted from Australian Government departments, Schools,Hospitals,Military and Local Councils. Just send through your purchase order on Fax: (03) 9755 5760 or Email: sales@locksgalore.com.au
Overseas customers
We are happy to send our goods overseas. All our prices and shipping charges are in Australian dollars to your credit card. Your credit card statement will show the correct currency conversion for your country.
Also:
- A currency converter is available at checkout to give you an idea of the exchange rate into your currency
- Please note this is a guide only and does not include final shipping charges or minor changes in exchange rates
- Also note that international sales may incur Duty, tariffs or Sales Taxes in your respective countries upon receiving ordered items, which you will be liable for.
Standard delivery times
Please allow 2 to 10 business days from date of clearance of your payment for areas within Australia.
International customers please allow 5 to 20 days (longer if customs require) from date of clearance of your payment.
We aim to hold the majority of our products, however special order items and certain products can at times be difficult to obtain.
As soon as your order is received and we establish the reason for a possible delay, we will inform you of the estimated delivery date via email or phone, within two business days, and you will also be kept up to date with the progress of your order.
Guarantee
We cover all manufacturers’ guarantees; should you find the product faulty during the manufacturers warranty period, please send us an email requesting a returns number.
All items returned as faulty are liable to manufacturer’s inspection. We cannot guarantee replacement or credit: a warranty repair may be given.
You are responsible for all warrranty return freight charges.
Returns policy
No returns can be accepted for exchange or credit unless previously agreed. Contact us by email and we will provide you with a return authorisation number and instructions for return of the item, all returned merchandise must be accompanied with a copy or original receipt from Locks Galore and return authorisation number.
A restocking charge of 15% or a minimum of $10.00 will be charged on good “not wanted” or “incorrectly ordered”.
You must inform us within seven days of receipt of goods for a return reference number to be granted under this category. All items to be returned must be in original, unopened packaging, undamaged and not used.
All items returned as faulty are liable to manufacturer’s inspection. We cannot guarantee replacement or credit: a warranty repair may be given.
No items can be returned if they have been ordered specially, if defective you may only exchange these items for the same product.
You are responsible for all return freight charges. However, you will be credited all reasonable and customary freight charges relevant to that item only if product is damaged during freight to you, or the wrong item was shipped.
We recommend items be returned via Registered Australia post for proof of delivery in their original shipping materials. Be certain the items are secure in their packaging so damage does not occur while they are in transit back to us.
If your return arrives with internal damage you will be notified and have the option to file a claim with your shipping agent. (Note: return shipping cost refunds are calculated using the lowest cost shipping method. Items returned via expedited shipping methods will only be refunded an amount equal to the lowest cost shipping method).
Special orders
Items that are ordered, that are not kept in stock are deemed to be a special order. If the products that you are requesting are deemed to be special orders then regrettably once the order / contract has been agreed we are in no way able to have these items returned, if defective you may only exchange these items for the same product.
Refunds
We will notify you via email of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item. Please note we will refund reasonable shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error.
Please allow 14 to 21 days for processing of your return. Refunds will be credited to the original credit card account number only.
Force majeure
We shall have no liability to you for any failure or delay in supply or delivery or of any damage or defects to goods supplied or delivered hereunder that is caused by an event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control (including, without limitations, strikes, lockouts and other industrial disputes).
Disclaimer of liability and warranties
While Locks Galore ensures the optimal performance of the site, you agree that you use this site at your own risk. You acknowledge that Locks Galore is not liable for any delays, inaccuracies, failures, errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, viruses, communication line failure or damage to your computer system or network.
